A Honeybee's Work

Updated: Apr 24, 2023

A Honeybee travels from its hive, in search of nectar and pollen, to bring back home.

On average, a honeybee only lives on this earth thirty to sixty days.

They spend their entire lives going from one flower to the next, spreading the pollen.

And in their month or two of life, one honeybee alone, can only produce one-twelfth of a teaspoon of honey.

To us humans it doesn’t seem like a lot, I know.

But to a Honeybee, it's the work of a lifetime.

So, if you are reading this today, I challenge you, Dear Friends, to be more like the Honeybee.

Let us all go from one lost soul to the next, spreading the Good News of Jesus.

Let's all be busy for Christ.

If you lead hundreds of Souls to Jesus, that's great.

But even if you lead only one lost sinner to the Father, that’s great too.

‘Cause that’s one more soul we will share eternity with in heaven. And that one soul is more valuable to the Father than a mighty army.

It's the work of a lifetime.

…I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘make straight the way of the Lord!’...
