The Butterfly Journey

The Butterfly wasn’t always its beautiful self.

It din’t always have stunning wings, made of pretty colored stained glass and black veining.

It wasn’t always delicate and beautiful to look upon.

No, it was once a very ugly, crawling, grubby insect that us humans are sometimes afraid to behold.

Yes, the caterpillar.

But before the caterpillar could become the beautiful Butterfly, it had to go through a major transformation.

The caterpillar didn’t worry about what it was at the time.

Because it knew what it was becoming.

Sometimes, we have to go through major transformation before we can be used by God. Sometimes we have to be chastised and go through tribulation, roughed up and then smoothed back out.

Sometimes life isn’t fair. But it’s all part of a bigger plan for God.

So, Friend, whatever is troubling you today, God’s not done with you yet.

He’s still teaching and molding you into what you’re to become.

And just remember, on the other side of our troubles, awaits our Savior.

Our Butterfly.

Scripture:

…..We glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed.

Romans 5 : 3-5
