Deviled Eggs

This may sound funny, but hear me out.

A few days ago, my sister approached me with an "observation story".

About a deviled egg (or boiled).

Before an egg is boiled, if it is dropped or beat, it cracks. Thus, both the egg white and yoke are released and the egg is utterly wasted.

But if it is boiled, and say you dropped it, the shell would crack- but the egg itself would be safe.

As Christians, we are constantly under the attack of the devil. But it is our armor that protects us.

And the strength of our armor is determined by how much temptation and "hot water" we can withstand. As the world around us "boils", we must each withstand what we can, and cling to what is true- the truth of Jesus.

But the question is, how much "hot water" can you take?

When life gets rough and the road before you darkens, how do you react?

Does your armor grow stronger, or do you crack and burn?

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand

in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:13
