Kezia's life began as all lives usually do- with two parents who loved and cherish her.

She grew up in synagogue and loved hearing the Torah read aloud to her.

But her quaint life changed when her issue came.

She was suddenly a freak, an outcast cast from her own home, rejected by her family and friends, and deemed unclean by the Rabbi.

She was unable to touch anyone, lest they became unclean and sick too. She was forbidden to go to synagogue and force to live in a tent on the outskirts of town.

Many doctors promised to heal her, but only abused and hurt her.

She was lost and alone, out of money and spat on.

Until she heard about the Miricales, and the Man behind them.

His name was Jesus.

And you know the rest of the story.

The woman with the issue of blood, whom I have called Kezia, is widely known and widely used.

She is only mentioned in two of the four gospels- Mark and Luke.

In Luke 8, the english standard version says this:

"And when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling, and falling down before him declared in the presence of all the people why she had touched him, and how she had been immeadietly healed."

I love how it says she "declared" how Jesus had healed her.

Declare means, "To make known" of "To bring forth".

The woman was afraid, trembling.

But she had believed and knew that this Man had just healed her of her twelve-year long issue.

And that belief gave her the courage to declare to the multitudes why she touched this man.

Have you declared Jesus?

Have you decalred his love for you and how he has healed you?

It can be kind of awkard and intimdating to spread the word and declare Jesus in a world that seems so against Christains- but Jesus calls and commands us to.

Firend, make it your goal to declare Jesus today.
